I. Introduction

The central equipment cooling water system is located on the roofs of Buildings E2 and W4. Central chilled water is supplied via plate heat exchangers and pumps to relevant laboratory facilities, including equipment cooling units, cold storage, and cleanroom dry coils.

II. Building Automation (BA) System

The BA system monitors real-time data from the computer room system and sets fault alarm signals, improving the efficiency of fault detection and maintenance.

III. Maintenance Overview

Monthly: Inspection and troubleshooting of computer room equipment, sensor status checks, and automatic control box checks; monitoring of water supply pressure and temperature.

Quarterly: Checking pump operation status, pump motor and operation for abnormal noises and vibrations, and wear of pump and motor bearings; checking valve functionality; checking for leaks in the plate heat exchangers.

Annual: Cleaning and maintenance of the plate heat exchangers every 1-2 years.
