I. Introduction

The Laboratory Service Department assists in conducting preventative maintenance inspections of the distribution boxes within the laboratory's jurisdiction. Regular (six-month) inspections are performed on wiring and other issues within the distribution boxes. Currently, over 400 distribution boxes are under maintenance.

II. Maintenance Overview

  1. Cabinet Cleaning (No debris inside the cabinet (dust/wire ends/screws, etc.))
  2. Cabinet Temperature (<60℃ for connectors/wiring/components, etc.)
  3. Cabinet Integrity (Sturdy/Undamaged/No paint peeling/Normal ventilation)
  4. Components (Indicator lights/Multi-function meters/Operating handles are normal)
  5. Internal Wiring Connections (Waisting wires/Terminals/Modules and accessories are securely connected)
  6. Clear Labeling (Electrical box labeling/Circuit labeling/Complete system diagram)
  7. Record of any problems found in the electrical box (e.g., non-standard wiring/missing labels, etc.)
